Pretty bad huh?

14 - 18 Nov 2010 - The Mountain & The Beach, The beauty of the mother nature

We reached Sabah on the 14th Nov 2010 Evening and started the climb on 15 Nov 2010 Morning... So here we go, all fresh and excited!

The sky was quite misty becoz we're going uphill. I didn't know the starting point was actually not at the normal land level.

Oh did I mentioned? Even though we're at the start point it was already cold. That explains the huge thick windbreaker!

Damn. It was really not EASY at all. I wonder which guru told me Kinabalu is easier than Ophir? it's only 1.5km and I thought I was miles away. LOL.

Resting point! And never fails to forget a shot of the process!

I love the smell of the trees and sky... but it was flights of stairs one after another! grrr..

Guest Appearance. Actually, there was many of them running around scrumbling for food.

Naturally crafted stairs, it's basically steps of rocks and trucks and some man-made planks to stop the soil from eroding into a straight slope.

We reached 6km before 5pm to have dinner and rested in the dorms provided. Woke up again at 1.30am and started the remaining climb at 2am with a much lighted backpack (we kept almost everything in the dorm!) and a torchlight in my right hand.

Sun Rise! Sabah's sunrise is at about 6.05am? This shot was taken before 6am though! Love it! The tough climb was all worth it when we saw such amazing view.

That was the summit at 8.7km. I took this when I was at 8.5km?

There's a reason why I was named the rabbit/bunny since young. My Bak-Gay! Anyway, temperature was below 10 degC during the night! It was so so so cold I didn't dare to brush teeth after I experienced frost bitten hands from washing my hands!

I love the 2nd half of climb! Basically as long as I get to climb rocks I'm be so smitten by it! Some parts were pretty steep and dangerous though. But I really really love that feel of being in control of myself.

Phew, reached the ending point at 2.15pm. Not even half dead, but ALMOST DEAD! We were exhausted!! and WTH! there I saw this score board of disgusting results of the Climbathon 2009. Salute! The fastest record was 2hrs 40min for a climb that took a normal person like me 1 full day! gosh, did this guy just teleported himself up and down?

YEAH!!! We've got our Cert!!!!

hahaha! After the climb was 2 days of full body massage! we were hurting so much we can barely walk! The Hot foot bath was the best to relax the tensed and sore feets! And I supposed you could see the rashes on my left knee... The rashes didn't go away for more than 1 week!

We went to this amazing beach at Sapi Island!! OMG, the scenaries were amazing!

eh.... I slept enough. In fact I slept very well in Sabah... But I can't explain the puffy eyes and super seh face!

I really had lots of fun there in Sabah. I Love the place and I definitely will go back there again. The only sad thing was I fell and hit the rock and injured my left knee. And I came home with a swollen and bruised.......

Toe... read till the end. You'll understand the seriousness of this toe injury that dun look so serious to you. hehehehe...

It's a Thai restuarant establish by this local Artist Pornsak Prajakwit, located at Liang Seah street. It's a pretty busy place though... Food were great and I love it all but price is a little on the steep side though...

And the mango sticky rice was...... VA VA Voom!

Fujifilm Instax Mini 25!!

I FINALLY GOT MY POLAROID!!! After like considering for probably more than a year already?! I decided to get it after I went out with Bestie Cara that day and she let me try out! Heard from Bestie that Mini 25 is no longer in production thus it's very hard to find in SG.

So I very luckily got a very good bargain from Gmarket and got it shipped it from Korea!!! Bought the Beautiful Wine Colour Case and 80pcs films from the same seller at much discount!

And it comes with a pink leather handheld strap for the Case
(quite good quality lor! and I think he sells it for $15.90)

My Other possession and an add-on to the Camera family! Alright the Black-pink one belongs to Joo and Mine's the black-orange one. It's a 3 Lens Lomo camera!

I Love cameras and recently I kinda fall for Lomo Cams. Think they're so adorable and the photo efftects are really artistic! Hope I got more money to buy More!! LOL.

Anyway, I was surprised! I thought I was about to get a good nag from Papa when he saw me receiving parcels for my online purchase of cameras. Yet he was, ermm... as well, fascinated with my new possessions and even supported my ideas of buying more cameras! LOL. I was telling Papa I wanna get a DSLR when I save enough... and my Papa kept saying "Good good, go and buy!" and went on to tell me he ACTUALLY used to have those professional camera and lenses back then and sold off for thousands over bucks becoz need to raise money to give birth to us!!! hahaha! OMG! I was like... if my papa never sell off his cameras, we probably can fetch a good price on the antique! hahahaa! Anyway, My papa is like my khaki when it comes to electronics and furnitures. Somehow, papa had passed on the same genes and interests to me. LOL.

There I saw a friend looking online on this Colourful Pentax DSLR and I was too, attracted by its wide range of colours. Can I add this to my birthday wishlist????? LOL.

Oh Vincent Vincent, How handsome art thou!

Came across this website - http://www.paperus.com.sg/ selling bottle plants for Office folks as they requires minimal attention, yet at the same time beautify up your boring desk and generate some fresh Oxygen for those buried in the heavy stuffy workload! I fell in love with Vincent! But ermmm... the price... looks like Vincent's queue gonna be pretty far away.. =(

I went crazy the other day and decided to do something to spice up my life after the lovely climb. I went to do gel extension and 3D nail arts at MySpa!! The manicurist, Aini, is really cool! Though I love the length and how good the Manicurist is by moulding all these cute 3Ds, I hate the situation of my hair getting tangled in those 3Ds!

Now you see what I meant? The injury was bad! My whole toe nail turned black! The bruise and swell was so bad that after I came back to SG, the pain got worse and I couldn't walk very well. It felt like the nail fell off and it's hanging on the tip! but nahz, my nail is still intact. Now it's slowly healing though it's close to a month and it's still black =(
